How to use this site

Use case 1: search for a property in an area:

• Navigate to the area on the map where you search for a property.
• Specify your search criteria in the "Search" Tab or leave them as is.
• Click the "Show" button once. In a few seconds you should see on the map all markers that meet your search criteria . If you change the viewable map area, please press "Show" again to requery server.
• Click on a property marker, it will open a new tab page for this property.
• Click HERE to view a screenshot of a sample search

Use case 2: quickly locate a building by name:

• Switch to the "Navigation" Tab.
• Enter any portion of the building name into the "Condo Name" textfield.
• Click the "Go" button to the right of the "Condo Name" textfield once. In a few seconds you should see the marker on the map.
• Click on the property marker. A new tab page for this property will be open.

What if something does not work?

• If you do not see the map, try closing and reopening your browser. Also, try clearing the browser file cache
• If you used the site before, but now something does not work, try hitting the "Refresh" button of your browser to update all files in your computer cache to their latest versions.
• Javascript must be enabled.
• This site has only been tested with IE7. It is not known whether it will work correctly with all other browsers. It is highly recommended to use the latest browser version. If you get an error in IE and none of the suggestions here helped, please notify us and we will try to resolve it.
• Pictures are loaded directly from MLS. If you do not see pictures for a listing, MLS does not have them yet.
• "loadbarrier not defined" is a sporadic Google Maps error. Just refresh the page if you get it.

Tips

• To improve performance, try searching on a smaller area of map.
• If the zoom level is too small, we do not display the properties, just the zip codes. This is done to avoid overloading our server and keep your searches quick.
• To view detailed zip code area profile and statistics: Zoom Out to the island level and do ANY search (just push the "Show" button in the Search tab). You will see the markers for each zip code. Click on the one that you are interested in. A new tab page will appear. You will see the link to the area profile within this tab page.
